How To Convert Video Files
There is a wide range of video files for different platforms and purposes. Whether you are uploading your video to YouTube or Vimeo or want a high-res master file, you could be working with MP4 files, M4V, MOV - the list goes on. Pinnacle Studio lets you not only export files in different formats, but convert them too. So if you find yourself with a video clip you are struggling to work with, you can quickly change it up for something more convenient. Get started with the guide below.
1. Install Pinnacle Studio
To install Pinnacle Studio video editing software on your PC, download and run the installation file above. Continue following on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
2. Open and Edit Video
If you want to edit your video before you convert it to a different format, open your video in the timeline and add effects, transitions and other content.
3. Choose a Format
To convert video format, open the Export tab and make sure Format is selected from the output drop-down. Then, from the output type drop-down select the desired video conversion format. You can also select the quality you want the video output at during this step.
4. Finish
After you have selected the format you want your video converted to select Start Export. This will begin exporting your video to your desired video format and to the preset destination folder. If you want to cancel the export, select Cancel Export.
