Responsibilities This is an exciting position that will be responsible for being the voice of the world wide Consumer Video Editing market and customer, defining messaging, positioning, product launch plans and evangelizing both internal and external teams on our story. Specifically, the successful candidate will: • Aggregate and represent knowledge of the video editing market, its trends, its competitors, its customers, by systematically searching for facts in collaboration with research, product management and field teams. • Work with Market Research and Product Management to help define end-user research to be conducted, and use these results when determining the product messaging • Drive the definition of the messaging hierarchy for video editing products, based on the in-depth understanding of target audiences ensure a consistent use of messaging through all communications. • Deliver outbound messages ensuring the right development of sales tools, launch tours, review programs in key geographies in collaboration with marketing and field resources.. • Articulate key metrics for success for Pinnacle in Video Editing • Lead the analytical effort to identify and prioritize new marketing initiatives. Understand consumer requirements and develop competitive positioning strategy for new product feature releases The successful candidate must be able to regularly interact with senior management / executive levels as well as customers and the press. At times you will be expected to persuade others in sensitive situations and gain support. 25% travel, including international travel required.

Key Skills • Ability to think and act globally based on your knowledge and understanding on the European and US high-technology consumer markets, and their specific requirements, • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Familiarity with the Consumer and Prosumer Video Editing or multimedia products • Experience working closely with the internal sales force, the channel, and end-users • Ability to drive/lead/work with many diverse teams in multiple functional areas and in a truly global environment • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communications skills • Leadership capabilities to influence customers, partners, and internal Pinnacle teams • Proven ability to develop and drive marketing strategies.
Qualifications: :

Experience & Education • BA/BS, MBA preferred • 7+ years international marketing experience in the high tech industry, with at least 4 directly related to the Consumer market. • Multi-lingual a plus
