Duties: :
This position is responsible for supporting the world wide financial and business operations of the Pinnacle consumer video group through detailed budgeting, analysis and internal reporting of all areas of the business. This position reports to the Director of FP&A in Mountain View, CA.
Areas of responsibility:
• Assist Director of FP&A in annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecast(s) as needed
• Assist Sales department in management of budgets, actual expenses and accrued liabilities for sales promotions activities including MDF, rebates, price protection and other programs.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting for each promotion program; including revenue recognition issues related to programs
• Report results of rebate programs / MDF programs to management
• Calculate month and quarter end accruals for all promotional programs
• Maintain existing sales reports and implement new reporting as needed
• Provide ad hoc sales and inventory reporting to Sales and Finance teams
• Perform various revenue recognition reconciliations
• Manage headcount in each functional area to ensure accuracy in head count addition, termination, transfer, and responsible for calculating/reviewing sale commission, bonus payout, benefits, etc.
• Work with SAP team to ensure data integrity, act as liaison in dealing with reporting requirements as needed
• Support of month-end close process
• Support the business manager (e.g. marketing, PM, engineering) in providing ad-hoc report on demand
Requirements: :
We are seeking a candidate who has extensive experience working with a consumer product company and with different sales channels within the company. We are looking for a strong track record of innovation and implementation of controls and tracking measurements to manage expenses in the channel. Candidate must be capable of analyzing complex business problems and be process oriented. This candidate must possess strong communication skills and is able to work with various divisions and all levels of management within the company. Minimum experience level is five years of corporate finance with at least three years hands on experience.
Qualifications: :
A bachelor degree in Business Administration is preferred. Knowledge of SAP required. Strong PC and MS Office skills required.
