It’s easy to add surround sound to your home movies using Pinnacle Studio and Dolby Digital Creator tool.

This tool is built into Studio 10 and is incredibly easy to use (all you have to do is activate it: see below). Compared with normal stereo recording, it provides higher quality sound and saves up to 25% of valuable disc space. You can play it back on any surround sound system.

What is Dolby Digital?

Dolby Digital is the reigning standard for surround sound technology. It is used in thousands of cinemas and millions of homes worldwide.

Dolby Digital Stereo Dolby Digital Stereo Pinnacle Studio Plus 10 comes standard with Dolby® Digital Stereo Creator for creating DVD-Videos with stunning Dolby Digital stereo soundtracks at home that can be played back on virtually any PC or Home Theater System. It provides higher quality sound and saves up to 25% of valuable disc space.

Dolby Digital 5.1 brings the cinema experience home and adds a touch of Hollywood to your home movies. A bit confusingly, “5.1” stands for six discrete channels (left, centre, right, left rear, right rear and a subwoofer). Pinnacle Studio MediaSuite 10 comes standard with Dolby® Digital 5.1 Creator. Now you can use your creativity to mix, edit and author your video on your pc and create a DVD video with realistic 5-channel sound.
