support, you can pause what you are listening to and pick up where you left
off or fast forward past commercials or songs you don’t like. PCTV 50i is ideal
for watching and recording TV on your PC and supports stereo/multi channel TV
sound.
Enhanced Teletext features
With Pinnacle TVCenter, get access to channel information with our advanced
Teletext support. Unlike competing products, with Pinnacle TVCenter there’s
no need to research and refresh content each time you change the channel. Pinnacle
PCTV keeps all content in its memory giving you immediate access to pages and
sub-pages, saving you time. In addition, TVCenter also supports TOP/FLOF technology,
a general subject-based index for accessing programme information by category,
as well as weather, sports lotto, etc.
Expandable feature set
To enhance your PCTV experience, Pinnacle PCTV 50i offers an optional software
upgrade, sold separately, for optimized functionality. The Pinnacle MediaCenter
upgrade lets you easily access all your media with your remote control, and
includes advanced Personal Video Recorder (PVR) features, such as MPEG-2 recording
and timeshifting, Direct-to-DVD recording, and an integrated, remote-controlled
EPG. What’s more, this upgrade package includes the unsurpassed Pinnacle MediaManager
application for organizing all your digital media, a DVD player, and CD and
DVD burning capability.
